A large wearable sculpture to remind you of your inner strength and endurance.
Details:
Choose from raw golden brass (10g), hallmarked recycled sterling silver (15g) or Fairmined gold plated brass.
The bale loop is a minimum of 5mm in width - allowing you to feed a chain onto it.
The pendant is almost 2 inches in length and 0.75 inches wide.
Atlas is holding a large reclaimed faux pearl above his head.

About
Atlas, was a Titan who held the whole of heaven on his shoulders. He had endurance and strength, as after losing a ten-year battle against the Olympians, Atlas was made to hold up the celestial globe (the heavens) for eternity. I hope that in these earrings you’re reminded of your own inner strength and power.
I sculpted this piece in early 2020, but the concept was born in the summer of 2019, after I purchased a string of chunky antique beads in Somerset. I knew straight away that I wanted to create a nudey Atlas to hold the beads, and I was recalled the fantastic sculpture of Atlas in the Royal Palace of Amsterdam, which I looked into once again whilst researching to sculpt my design.
Details
18ct Gold plate layered onto cast brass statuettes and sterling silver ear wires.
Reclaimed faux pearls.
Available as a single piece or as a pair.
About 6cm in length.
Surprisingly light because the pearls are faux!
Care
These faux pearls won’t like getting wet. It’s best to remove these sculptures before bathing, swimming, meeting with the mermaids etc…
To keep Atlas bright and shiny, you can use the polishing cloth included in your order, and the care card enclosed will give you plenty of tips and tricks for wearing, caring for, and storing your gold-plated treasure jewels.
We can re-plate these for a fee in the future!
