Antique Love Token

This one-off charm necklace features a cast Ex Voto heart amulet (which symbolises devotion, passion, love, & gratitude) & a clutter of 20 reclaimed & recycled gemstones which have been collected from far & wide.

I have adorned this brass flaming heart with a reclaimed freshwater pearl.

Details:

• Necklace Length: 18 inches - clip it securely onto the chain itself to wear it shorter.

• The Ex Voto heart was sculpted from jewellers wax & has been cast from raw golden brass. I research various antiques & artefacts & then take to the wax with tiny metal tools.

• 20 recycled gemstones: Vintage coral, freshwater pearls, lapis lazuli, quartz, malachite, carnelian, garnet, cowrie shell & agate.

• The chain & all of the metal details are made from 14ct Filled Gold - a thick layer of gold is pressure bonded onto base metal. Filled gold is a more durable alternative to gold plate or vermeil.
