Bastet was also the goddess of women’s secrets (meow), pleasure, perfume, and luxury… Isn’t she fantastic. Bastet had the head of cat and a svelte female body, but she was sometimes depicted as a lioness or a domestic cat. Thousands of little feline figurines have survived the past, and many wearable amulets of cats pay tribute to her popular ancient cult.
Cats were believed to be utterly sacred in ancient Egypt - and the best of us know they still are!

Bastet has been carefully carved from solid jewellers wax, and then magically cast into metal. She’s an everyday treasure intended to last forever.
