This one-off Sterling Silver Charm Necklace is adorned with 17 reclaimed gemstones & a hand-carved Reliquary Hand Amulet adorned with a miniature flaming Ex Voto Heart.
I am very into this design and the delicious gemstones cluttering this delicate silver chain.
Details:
Necklace Length: 16 inches. The pendant brings it to about 17.5 inches in length.
17 recycled gemstones: fluorite, amethyst, pearl, abalone, agate, rose quartz, citrine, mother-of-pearl, aqua, lazuli, quartz crystal, vintage white coral, and an antique Tasmanian mariners shell.
I sculpted the Reliquary Hand from wax and had it cast into recycled sterling silver - I’ve then soldered on a lil loop and adorned the index finger with a tiny flaming Ex Voto Heart.
The chain & all of the small metal details are made from 925 sterling silver.
This design is repeatable. I have enough of these recycled gemstones and cast components to make a very small limited edition stash of them. They will vary ever so slightly due to the organic nature of the stones and intricate wire-wrapping.
Care:
If you've chosen a piece that has a mix of cast brass amulets on a gold filled or gold-rolled chain, you'll need to treat these elements differently when caring for your jewels. You'll recieve a small white polishing pad with your order to be used on the brass amulets. Please refrain from using this pad on the chain, its quite course and will affect the way your gold looks. The gold is pressure bonded onto the base metal surface, rather than just electroplated on the top. This gold bond is much thicker than plate, and the 14ct gold of this chain makes up 5% of the total piece.
Dispatch and delivery:
Please allow me up to 10 days to dispatch your jewel. Altered lengths may take closer to 2 weeks as I may need to order extra components.
