Magic Star Necklace
A one-off lucky charm necklace is a lucky token, a journey, a protective apotropaic piece of art to be worn. It’s dotted with stones, gems and pearls from faraway lands and seas. These precious beads have travelled far and wide. This little magpie (me) has been collecting them, hoarding them and now I’ve chosen my favourites, wrapped them in fine wire and turned them into individual amuletic charms.

Necklace Length: 19 inches
The Magic Star is made from raw brass.
15 gemstones & Trinkets: red jasper, jasper, lava stone, peridot orange, jadeite, malachite, vintage corals, vintage hand carved ox-bone skull, pearls, carnelian & vintage glass.
Necklace chain made from 14ct Filled Gold - a thick layer of gold is pressure bonded onto base metal. Filled gold is a more durable alternative to gold plate or vermeil.
Ready to ship in 1-2 weeks. We usually dispatch on Thursday’s! :)
Care:
If you've chosen a piece that has a mix of cast brass amulets on a gold filled or gold-rolled chain, you'll need to treat these elements differently when caring for your jewels. You'll recieve a small white polishing pad with your order to be used on the brass amulets. Please refrain from using this pad on the chain, its quite course and will affect the way your gold looks. The gold is pressure bonded onto the base metal surface, rather than just electroplated on the top. This gold bond is much thicker than plate, and the 14ct gold of this chain makes up 5% of the total piece.
Dispatch and delivery:
Please allow me up to 10 days to dispatch your jewel. Altered lengths may take closer to 2 weeks as I may need to order extra components.
