A vintage box link chain - made in the 1980’s.
Available in 38cm or 74cm (16 inches or 29 inches)
Lightweight.
A golden piece of costume jewellery!
Made in the 1980’s and never worn.
Gold plated base metal. Not suitable for very sensitive skin.
Store dry and don’t wear in water.
Avoid getting creams / perfumes on the metal as the plating will come off quicker with exposure to moisture / chemicals.

Need a gold chain for your golden amulets?
I’ve sourced these gold-filled chains to be a great alternative to solid gold chains. They’re a snip of the price of solid gold chains, and they’re very durable and will wear, and last similarly to gold. Gold filled is very different to gold plate. The gold is pressure bonded onto the base metal surface, rather than just electroplated on the top. This gold bond is much thicker than plate, and the 14ct gold of this chain makes up 5% of the total piece.
These chains are strong enough for my amulets but delicate enough for everyday wear and some delicious layering. This drawn cable link is a medium sized link but still nice and lightweight. The extended links are delicate and the gold colour really catches the light.
