Grecian Signet Ring
Grecian Signet
Inspired by a suite of Classical Greek signet rings. This molten ring has craters like the moon, and with a smooth rounded band, it is incredibly comfy to wear.
Ancient world signet rings which would have originally been used to mark a signature on something which would be stamped and sealed.
Details:
Signet ring.
Made to order in any size!
Choose from raw golden brass, gold plated brass, or recycled sterling silver.
About 2cm diameter of the flat shiny disc.
Made to order which takes up to 6 weeks.
Handmade:
I carved this signet ring from a piece of solid wax and then melted its surface above a candle. I made this piece aged 19, and I think it may have been one of the first rings I ever made. However, it sat as a wax sculpture for years, before I finally cast it in January 2022. I am so happy with its final cast form, and it’s my comfiest signet so far!
Care:
Brass and silver will naturally oxidise and darken. To keep your ring bright and shiny, polish with the polishing pad included in your order, and read the care card enclosed - for lots of tips and tricks. Gold plate needs some extra TLC, and I’ll send a polishing cloth and care card with your order.
