Molten Signet

A last chance to buy the Molten signet ring before it’s archived.

I carved this signet from wax in 2019 and it was one of the first rings I made. I’m going to be developing a collection of solid gold rings, and I won’t be offering this design in brass again.

This design symbolises change and resilience. It has been inspired by various Classical signet rings which would have been used to stamp a signature onto the seal of a letter, document, or package. The signature could be a name, a matrix seal, imagery or insignia, and they provide reliable provenance to the recipient.

Details:

• A molten organic signet ring design.

• Choose from Raw Brass, Fairmined Gold Plated Brass or Recycled Sterling Silver.

• Made to order in your size. Please allow 4 weeks for these to be adjusted in wax, cast and then polished. Allow an additional 3 weeks for Fairmined Gold plating.

• Made by hand and cast in the UK. No two pieces are exactly the same.

Please be 100% sure of your size as I make these to order.

I adjust and size the rings in wax before casting. Raw Brass and Recycled Silver rings can be resized for a fee of £35. It’s easier to go up in size and a longer process to reduce rings. Gold plated rings cannot be resized as the heat of soldering will strip off the precious Fairmined Gold.
