These glitzy gemstone rings are one-of-a-kind sculptures & a real labour of love.
I have been collecting new & old cubic zirconia gems (which are lab-grown synthetics) to make these big sparklers, which are inspired by the delicious diamond rings of the Renaissance, Georgian and Victorian periods. I model the gems directly into the jewellers wax designs & then they’re cast into place during the lost-wax-casting process.

Features one large olive green marquise shaped gem which measures about 16mm x 16mm.

Why cubic zirconia?
They’re hardy, sparkly & beautiful! They can be cast-in place & withstand the super high temperatures of the lost-wax-casting process.
It’s an environmentally & socially conscious way of making big sparkly rings. Mining precious minerals requires hundreds & thousands of tonnes of earth to be moved. It can be damaging to the natural environment & dangerous to the communities who work & live in places where precious minerals are abundant in the earth.
I like to make my art from old recycled gemstones or synthetics which are already in circulation! :)
Cast-in-place
Please note that the gems are not guaranteed to stay in place forever. They’re cast-in-place & the cast metal is holding them into the sculpture. As the ring wears & lives a life with you, it may erode & the cast settings may wear down. A gem may jump ship, but I hope you’ll still see the beauty in the chunky rugged Treasure Ring. As the gems are cast into place they cannot be reset, but I believe that’s part of their beauty.
Care
Brass will naturally oxidise and darken over time. To keep it shiny & bright, polish with the polishing cloth included in your order, and swot up on the care card included, as it contains tips & tricks for care & general wear.
If it doesn’t fit?
If the piece doesn’t fit you can exchange it for something else within the collection if it’s returned within 15 days. It needs to be in resell-able condition.
